Reference is made to the following obligations of the Company pursuant to the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) (“MMLR”):-

1. The Company’s Q1 2020 Results is required to be announced to Bursa Securities for public release latest by 31 May 2020, which is not later than two (2) months after the end of the said quarter of financial year ending 31 December 2020 pursuant to Paragraph 9.22(1) of the MMLR; while

2. The Company’s Annual Report 2019 is required to be issued by 30 April 2020 to Bursa Securities and its shareholders, being four (4) months from the close of the financial year ended 31 December 2019, pursuant to Paragraph 9.23(1) of the MMLR.

Following the Covid-19 pandemic and the ensuing enforcement of the Movement Control Order by the Government, Bursa Securities had via its letter dated 16 April 2020, granted an extension of time (“EOT”) until 30 June 2020 for the listed issuers to issue their quarterly results and annual reports, which were due by 31 May 2020 and 30 April 2020, respectively.

Further to the above, AAX wishes to announce that the Company had submitted an application to Bursa Securities for an additional EOT and subsequently, Bursa Securities has via its letter dated 22 June 2020, granted AAX an additional EOT as follows:-

1. An additional EOT of one (1) month for the issuance of AAX’s Q1 2020 Results from 30 June 2020 to 31 July 2020; and

2. An additional EOT of one (1) month for the issuance of AAX’s Annual Report 2019 from 30 June 2020 to 31 July 2020.

Notwithstanding the additional EOT granted by Bursa, the Company will endeavour to make the necessary issuance as soon as possible.
