AirAsia X had on 25 April 2016 announced the receipt of a notification from Datuk Kamarudin Bin Meranun, a Non-Independent Executive Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of AirAsia X, pursuant to Paragraph 14.08(a) of the MMLR of his intention to deal in the shares of AirAsia X during closed period.

Further to the aforesaid announcement, AirAsia X had on 29 April 2016 received a notification from Datuk Kamarudin pursuant to Paragraph 14.08(d) of the MMLR in respect of his dealings in the securities of the Company on 28 April 2016 and 29 April 2016 respectively as stated below:-

1) An acquisition of 2,500,000 free detachable warrants (Warrants 2015/2020), equivalent to 0.281% of all issued Warrants of AirAsia X Berhad, at a total consideration of RM500,000.00; and

2) An acquisition of 858,200 free detachable warrants (Warrants 2015/2020), equivalent to 0.097% of all issued Warrants of AirAsia X Berhad, at a total consideration of RM167,349.00.

Upon completion of the aforesaid Acquisitions, the balance of number of shares held by Dato’ Kamarudin is as follows:-

*Shares held by CIMB Group Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd. and held under own name.

**Inclusive of shares held by CIMB Group Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd., Cimsec Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd. and Kenanga Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn. Bhd. for TGSB.
