We refer to the earlier announcements in relation to the extension of time for AAX to submit its regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of AAX, AmInvestment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Company had on 20 July 2023 submitted an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) for the following:

(i) a relief from having to submit and implement a regularisation plan as required under Paragraph 8.04(3)(a) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities (“Listing Requirements”); and

(ii) an upliftment of AAX from being classified as an affected listed issuer under Practice Note 17 of the Listing Requirements, 

after considering, among others, the recent improvement in the financial performance of the Company and its subsidiaries (“Proposed Relief & PN17 Upliftment”).

Pending the decision from Bursa Securities on items (i) and (ii) above, the Company had also vide the same application, applied to Bursa Securities for a further extension of time of three (3) months from 29 July 2023 to 28 October 2023 for the Company to submit a regularisation plan to the regulatory authorities in the event it does not receive Bursa Securities’ approval for the Proposed Relief & PN17 Upliftment.
